About Kyndy Pass

At-Bashy Valley is a vast highland valley in Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn Region, surrounded by the rugged At-Bashy mountain range and wide open pastures. The landscape combines sweeping grasslands, mountain rivers, seasonal jailoo pastures and snow-covered peaks, creating one of the most peaceful and remote environments in southern Kyrgyzstan.

Traditional livestock herding remains an important part of everyday life here, and the sparsely populated valley offers travellers an opportunity to experience the country’s living nomadic heritage away from the busiest tourist routes. The surrounding mountains rise dramatically above the valley and include peaks exceeding 4,500 metres.

At-Bashy also serves as an important gateway for journeys toward Tash Rabat, Koshoy Korgon, Chatyr-Kul and the remote border landscapes of southern Naryn. Its combination of mountain scenery, horseback culture and authentic rural life makes it particularly suitable for road trips, horse-riding journeys and cultural tours
