Highlights Of Kyrgyzstan – 5 Days

Your journey starts in Bishkek in the morning. First, drive through scenic mountain landscapes toward Kyzart Village.

After arriving in Kyzart, enjoy lunch at a local homestay. Then meet your horse and guide and prepare for your first horseback ride toward Tuz-Ashuu Valley on the way to Song-Kol Lake.

As you ride higher, enjoy open pastures, grazing animals and peaceful mountain views. The horseback journey takes approximately 4–5 hours.

Finally, arrive at your traditional yurt camp. In the evening, enjoy dinner with your local hosts and spend the night in a yurt.

After breakfast, enjoy the fresh mountain air before starting your ride back toward Kyzart Village. The route follows beautiful high-pasture trails and offers more views of the surrounding mountains.

By afternoon, arrive in Kyzart and enjoy a homemade Kyrgyz lunch with local hosts.

Afterward, continue by vehicle toward Issyk-Kul Lake. The road leads through changing mountain landscapes before reaching the peaceful southern shore.

Along the way, enjoy views of villages, valleys and open countryside. Eventually, arrive in Bokonbaevo and check into your guesthouse.

First, meet a local berkutchi for a traditional golden eagle hunting demonstration. During the experience, learn about this old Kyrgyz tradition and the special relationship between the hunter and the eagle.

Next, continue to Skazka Canyon, also known as Fairy Tale Canyon. Here, explore colorful sandstone formations shaped by wind and rain.

Afterward, enjoy a traditional lunch in Tamga village. Then travel to Barskoon Gorge, where mountain scenery and waterfalls create a refreshing stop.

Later, continue toward Jeti-Oguz Valley to see the famous red rock formations known as the Seven Bulls.

Finally, arrive in Karakol. Enjoy dinner and settle into your guesthouse for the night.

After breakfast, travel toward the mountain route leading to Altyn Arashan Valley. Then continue by classic Soviet 4×4 vehicle into one of the most beautiful valleys near Karakol.

Along the way, enjoy views of pine forests, rivers and high mountain slopes. Altyn Arashan is especially known for its natural hot springs and impressive Tien Shan scenery.

Once you arrive, take an easy walk through the valley. Afterward, relax in the hot springs and enjoy the peaceful mountain setting.

In the evening, return to your guesthouse and rest after the day's mountain adventure.

After breakfast, leave Karakol and travel toward Grigorevka and Semenovka Gorges. These neighboring valleys offer green pastures, rolling hills and wide views of the Tien Shan Mountains.

First, spend some time walking and taking photographs in the gorges. Afterward, continue along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

Along the way, pass lakeside villages and stop for photos when time allows. Then continue through the agricultural landscapes of the Chuy Valley.

Finally, arrive in Bishkek in the late afternoon. Your driver will drop you off at your selected location, marking the end of the tour.
